Side beams, thrust plate (fixed end) and pressure plate (moving end) which support the entire equipment. Filter plates and frames are arranged alternately. The frames form a space for placing the filter cake; filter plates (solid or hollow) serve to drain the filtrate.
The filter fabric covers the surface of the filter plates and frames and is the actual filter medium that traps solid particles. A manual, mechanical or hydraulic pressure device is used to compress all filter plates and frames to form sealed filter chambers. The structure includes a feed pump, pipelines, fittings, as well as an inlet for supplying flushing fluid.
