In 2019, a cottonseed oil refining project with a capacity of 10 tons per day was officially put into operation in the city of Hotan (Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China). Relying on the rich local resources of Xinjiang's cotton industry, the project focuses on the deep processing of cotton by-products, fully meeting the needs of small and medium-sized oil processing enterprises in the region, and promoting the upgrading of the local oil and fat industry.
The project includes a set of intelligent refining equipment that allows you to effectively carry out the full cycle of refining cottonseed oil: degumming, neutralization (deacid treatment), bleaching and deodorization. This ensures reliable removal of impurities, colloidal substances and foreign odors from raw oil, improves the color and taste of the finished product. The final oil meets quality standards and food safety requirements. The equipment is characterized by small dimensions, low energy consumption, ease of operation and ease of maintenance.
The implementation of the project made it possible to effectively use local cotton seed resources, expand the cotton processing industrial chain, increase the added value of agricultural products and give new impetus to the industrialization, standardization and greening of deep processing of oilseeds in Hotan (Xinjiang).
