In 2005, Liukangyuan Oil and Fat Co., Ltd. (Huangshan City, Anhui Province) successfully completed a project to build a camellia seed oil refining line with a capacity of 50 tons per day, entirely made of stainless steel. This project gave a powerful impetus to the modernization of the camellia oil processing industry in the mountainous region of South Anhui.
The line includes a full set of stainless steel refining equipment that meets food safety standards. It allows you to effectively carry out all stages of camellia oil refining: degumming, neutralization (deacidization), bleaching and deodorization, ensuring the removal of impurities from the raw oil while preserving its natural nutritional properties and characteristic aroma. The design capacity of the line is 50 tons of refined oil per day, which has significantly increased the level of fine and large-scale processing of local raw materials.
Relying on the rich resources of high-quality camellia fruits in the Huangshan region, the implementation of the project has made it possible to close the key links in the deep processing of camellia oil, eliminate bottlenecks in the regional oil and fat sub-industry, help improve the quality and efficiency of the production of environmentally friendly Huangshan camellia oil, and transfer it to standardized mass production. This, in turn, promotes the orderly and high-quality development of the regional agro-industrial (oil and fat) industry based on local plant raw materials.
