In 2015, in the city of Tianshui (Gansu Province), the Zhierkang Oil and Fat Equipment LLC project for processing flax seeds and walnuts with a capacity of 20 tons per day was officially put into operation. The project implements an integrated technology, including two-stage pressing and a full refining cycle, specially developed for two types of oilseed raw materials - flax and walnut, and aimed at medium- and small-scale industrial production of high-quality oils.
The project uses advanced two-stage pressing technology, which allows for deep extraction of oil from raw materials, significantly increasing the yield of the finished product and reducing losses. In combination with a full range of refining equipment, all stages of purification are ensured: degumming, neutralization (deacid treatment), bleaching and deodorization, which guarantees the removal of impurities and foreign odors, obtaining transparent and clean oil with complete preservation of nutrients. The finished product fully complies with state standards for vegetable oils for food use.
The implementation of this project made it possible to fill the lack of capacity for fine processing of high-quality tree oilseeds in the Tianshui region, optimize the local production chain for processing flax and walnuts, and also contributed to the industrialization and standardization of the production of healthy vegetable oils in the northwestern region of China, providing impetus for the development of advanced processing of grains and oilseeds in the region.
